Description: It’s Funky February! Join us as we continue down the motown path with another classic soul number: “I want you back” by the Jackson 5. This song is joyful, educational and super fun to play. And, it’s paired with the modern uke class, so you’ll get a cool piece of orchestration to share with your partner or group!

Areas of Focus: Motown-style and bass, ghost, syncopation and the elements of finger-style funk.

Prerequisites: Reading tab is helpful, but can easily be learned in class. Having some understanding of major and minor intervals would also be helpful, but these concepts will be explained as well. All levels are truly welcome :)
