Dani Joy & Perry Stauffer
If Norah Jones became a Disney princess, her name would be Dani Joy.
Dani Joy is a performing musical artist of Romero Creations who is best known for her ability to weave her crooning alto vocals together with complex campanella fingerpicking accompaniment through original music. For nearly a decade she has been entrancing audiences across the globe, inviting them in with her velvet vocals and compassionate style of teaching.
Dani Joy has been featured in Ukulele Magazine and several ukulele festivals across the US; Las Cruces Ukesfest, Ukewest, Auburn Ukefest, Midwest Ukefest, Uketoberfest, Napa Wine Country Ukefest, Suncity Ukefest, Porttownsend Ukefest, Kamloops Ukefest and Reno Ukefest.
Dani and her husband Perry Stauffer are now producers of the annual Reno Ukulele Festival (NV), Glampout (online) and upcoming Sasquatch Serenade Ukulele Retreat (Or).
Perry Stauffer is a multi-instrumentalist who teaches and performs on bass and ukulele. Perry is the co-founder of the Starlight Ukulele Academy in Portland, Oregon, and is particularly inspired by American roots music (blues, jazz, swing, country, etc.). Perry specializes in improvisation and ensemble education, arranging instructional pieces containing bass and multiple ukulele parts.
Perry teaches at ukulele festivals and retreats in the USA and Canada and, along with his musical partner Dani Joy, produce the popular Reno-Tahoe Ukulele Festival. The two also conduct online and in-person lessons through their Starlight Ukulele Academy. Perry is an endorsing artist for Romero Creations Instruments.
